Help the cats of Syros live better lives.

Photograph a cat in the alleys of Ermoupoli and the app works out who it is. Locals and visitors are building one shared record of every cat on the island.

How it works

Three taps in a Syros alley

Spot a cat

Snap a photo when you meet one on the steps. The app records where, so each cat is tied to the right colony.

Add it to the cat‑alogue

We check your photo against every cat the island already knows. If nobody has met this one, you get to name it.

Help them thrive

Your sightings show which colonies to reach next, and which cats have already been treated and sterilised.

Citizen science

An island-wide cat census, one photo at a time.

Every photo adds one cat to the island’s record: which cat, which neighbourhood, already sterilised or still to come. Visitors walking the alleys meet cats that rarely get recorded; locals know the ones that have lived on their step for years. Put together it becomes a picture nobody could build alone — and it shows exactly where the next round of treating and sterilising should go.

Be there the day the cat‑alogue opens.
